Watermelon is so refreshing and one of my favorite fruits to munch on during the hot summer months. These popsicles are the perfect treat to enjoy with your kids by the pool. They are loaded with vitamins A, B6, C and antioxidants. Due to high levels of potassium, watermelon act as a cleansing tonic for our kidneys by flushing out toxins. Skip the sugary loaded store-bought popsicles and make your own!
Watermelon Popsicles
Serves 6
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 watermelon
DIRECTIONS
- STEP 1. Blend the watermelon in your blender and transfer into popsicle molds.
- STEP 2. Freeze for a few hours and enjoy!
Detox Ice Cubes
The ice cubes photographed are very easy to make and so convenient to have on hand. Throw in small pieces of your favorite fruit and some mint or rosemary into the ice cube molds. Add water & freeze. I like having these in my freeze and they look so appealing to guests. Its a cute, creative twist that adds flavor and antioxidants to a glass of water.
