The Best Healthy Restaurants in London

What we put into our bodies can affect everything from energy levels, to weight gain, mental wellbeing, the appearance of skin and hair, and much more. This is why I have carefully selected some of my favorite healthy restaurants in London that I personally like and have shared the #HealthyWithNedi approved options from their menus.

All of the restaurants below are mostly casual spots for lunch with friends. If you are looking for something more upscale where you can bring a date, check out my London Date Night Restaurant Guide!

KX – This is the perfect place to enjoy a long lunch with friends after a killer workout (if you are a member or friends with one). I love everything on the menu, so it’s hard to decide, but here are some of my top picks: eggs florentine over GG fiber crackers, super greens salad, vegan chopped salad, grilled salmon with lentils, carrot spaghetti, chicken paillared, the chicken burger (no bun), and the sugar-free matcha balls.

Blakes – this is one of my favorite places for lunch or dinner. The ambiance is super cozy, yet romantic. Order the super green soup, sashimi platter, cauliflower crust pizza, zoodles with pesto and a side of wild mushroom with truffles! For dessert, I strongly suggest the vegan tiramisu. It is out of this world delicious!

NAC Mayfair – Charming French bistro located in Mayfair that is perfect for lunch with friends. Try the avocado toast, baby spinach salad, kale and feta salad, ahi tuna poke, and the grilled cajun chicken with a side of broccoli.

Humble Pizza – A plant based restaurant that serves a large variety of cauliflower crust pizza, delicious soups and healthy salads! The green soup and potato salad are two of my favorites.

202 – A charming brunch spot that incorporates a clothing boutique in Notting Hill is a super cool concept… eat & shop! Don’t let the long queue scare you, the wait goes by quickly. The restaurant has a rustic feel to it, the retail store is located downstairs making it ideal to shop after brunch. As for the food, I must say they serve some of the best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten and their french toast is incredible.

Gold – A really fun neighborhood spot in Notting Hill in the heart of Portobello Road. I love coming here for lunch with friends on the weekend. They have incredible vegetarian dishes. Try the Jerusalem artichokes with salsa verde and the baked aubergine.

Mediterraneo – A traditional Italian restaurant in Notting hill that is so charming and the ideal spot for a cozy Sunday lunch. Mediterraneo offers plenty of HWN approved options, some of which are the tuscan soup with beans, tuna tartar on a bed of avocado, baked eggplant parmesan, chicken pillared with rocket, grilled salmon with spinach and seared tuna with artichokes. 

Farmacy – A great place for vegan and plant-based eaters with plenty of selections. Some of my personal favorites are: the raw bruschetta, Asian salad, green eggs bowl, farmacy burger (without the bun), avocado toast, and the vegan buckwheat pancakes.

Electric House – Electric House is a member’s club on Portobello Road in West London that serves great healthy options. I recommend trying the tuna crudo, steak tartare, shaved vegetables salad (no crisps), bibb lettuce salad, vegan rice bowl, turmeric sea bass and all of their vegetable dishes.

Collins Room At The Berkeley – one of my favorite places for a cozy breakfast or lunch. If I am having breakfast there, I bring my GG fiber crackers and order soft scrambled eggs, the smoked salmon platter without toast or a bagel, side of sliced avocado and fresh, thinly sliced chilies. If you want to indulge then get the almond croissant and ask them to warm it up. It is to die for!! For lunch – try the Berkeley burger with gruyere, no bun, and a mixed green salad. So yummy!

Farm Girl – A holistic and healthy approach to an Australian cafe culture that serves nothing but fresh ingredients in the heart of Notting Hill. Get the avocado toast with poached egg, berry pancakes, oven baked eggs, Waldorf salad and the crab cakes.

Granger & Co – One of my favorite spots for breakfast. They have several locations throughout London and all are equally good. I usually visit the one in Chelsea as it is closer to my friends. They serve a delicious vegan granola with coconut yogurt and the cacao and banana smoothie is a must and I love their eggs with avocado salsa. If you feel like indulging then definitely try the ricotta hotcakes.

Nama Foods – A raw, vegan restaurant based in Notting Hill. Some of my favorite dishes are the truffle pasta, which is made out of zucchini noodles (totally #HealthyWithNedi approved), lasagna with zucchini pasta strips, the vegetable terrine, seaweed salad and the cheeseboard that is completely dairy-free.

A.O.K Kitchen – A stylish & elegant lunch spot with a very Nedi Approved kitchen. All items are refined sugar free and most are gluten free & dairy free! They also are very understanding about substituitions. One of my favorites is the delicious green salad with zuchinni and sesame.

CASUAL & ON THE GO SPOTS

Little H – A health haven cafe located on Kings Road that serves juices, smoothies, breakfast, brunch and plenty of nourishing snacks. I love the smashed avocado toast with sunflower and chia seeds, and the almond milk matcha latte. 

Tanya’s Cafe – This cafe serves all organic and plant-based meals, drinks and desserts. The living lasagna with walnut “meat” and the rainbow pad thai are my favorites. Both are low-carb options with a delicious twist.

Rawligion – This is a great place when you are in a hurry and want to pick up something healthy on the go. Everything is 100% organic and plant-based! The raw spicy Singapore kelp noodles are so tasty, and I also really like their red lentils soup.

Farmstand – This restaurant uses locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. I only recommend it if you are in a rush or ordering in at home. Try the harissa chicken, slow cooked beef brisket, vegan aubergine with tahini dressing and the red lentil coconut dahl.

Lomax Cafe – This health spot is located in Chelsea and what I love the most about their menu is that they include all of the macros (calories, carbs and fiber)! The best picks are the curry chicken skewers, kale and okra, stir fry veggies and the beef and rocket salad.

Squirrel – Super cute venue in South Kensington that is designed to look like a treehouse. It is great for pick up and go as you can make your own salads. The ginger spice bowl and the absolutely radiating salad are my two favorite picks.

Clean and Lean Cafe – I love all of their shakes, but my favorite is the chocolate body brilliance. It is under 100 calories and always relieves my sweet tooth. They also have the most delicious, grain-free jalapeño-cheese toastie! 

Juice Baby – A healthy café in Chelsea that offers cold-pressed juices, smoothies, nut milks, and salads. I love the taco bowl, soba noodles and the lean + green.
