Exercise
Start your day with Physique 57 Signature class or your favorite Physique 57 On-Demand video to get your metabolism moving. Exercising will help to maintain your blood sugar levels steady throughout the day and will release endorphins, which will boost your mood. And don’t forget to pick back up with your healthy routine after the holidays!
Drink Tea
Ginger-lemon and dandelion root are two of the best teas you can possibly have on Thanksgiving. Ginger-lemon soothes the stomach, while dandelion is great for relieving water retention.
Drink Green Juice or Smoothie
I recommend having all greens and avoiding fruit due to the excess sugar. The perfect green juice for me is made of kale, spinach, cucumber, extra lemon and extra ginger. This won’t be sweet and that’s the whole point, you’ll get an extra boost of vitamins without the additional sugar.
Take Digestive Enzymes
Have a digestive enzyme before your meal to aid digestion. These enzymes can take stress off the stomach, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, and small intestine by breaking down difficult to digest foods. They will also enhance nutritional absorption and ease acid reflux.
Probiotics
Probiotics are live bacteria that provide healthy gut flora and restore our health. They are essential for digestion of food, absorption of nutrients and to maintain healthy bowel movements.
