Autumn Infused Water And The Benefits of Detox Water
We all know that drinking a sufficient amount of water is essential for our health but drinking the recommended eight 8 – ounce glasses a day can be difficult and boring. Detox water is a new health trend that makes drinking water a little more exciting. Detox water is water with added ingredients that boost its health benefits. You can easily make detox water by adding chopped fruits, vegetables or herbs to your water and then letting it sit for 1-12 hours before drinking. The longer your detox water sits the more flavorful it will be. Some of my favorite mixes include lemongrass, cucumber and strawberries or oranges, ginger, mint and cucumber. Detox water is said to promote weight loss and help your body rid itself of toxins. Below is a new recipe I created for the fall and specific health benefits of the ingredients used.
