Work Out Classes Under an Hour

Work Out Classes Under an Hour

One of my favorite ways to workout is in a group workout class. I love the energy that fills the room and motivates me to work my hardest. We all struggle to get a workout in during our jam-packed schedules. So, I have put together a list of my favorite workout classes that are under an hour! These classes will allow you to get in a good sweat and still be on time for work.

Soul Cycle (45 Mins)

Soul Cycle is a great way to get your cardio in quickly. The class is 45 minutes of fast passed cycling and choreography to the beat of the music. The lights are dim, and the energy in the room in contagious, making it the perfect way to start your day. Soul Cycle is great about ending classes promptly, and you can even leave before their 5-minute stretch if you are in a rush. All studios have beautiful locker rooms with clean showers and everything you need to get ready for your day after a good sweat.

BK Pilates (reformer express 45 Mins)

BK Pilates is one of my favorite Pilates studios in NYC. The classes are small, which allows the instructor to correct your form if you need It. This studio is a little less challenging than some of the other reformer Pilates classes, but still a great workout. They have a 45-minute Reformer Express class during lunch, and it’s the perfect way to get your workout in on a time crunch. BK Pilates can be booked on ClassPass for 7 credits.

Brrrn (50 Mins)

Brrrn is the perfect workout for someone who hates to be hot and sweaty. The studio specializes in yoga, Pilates and HIIT classes in rooms where the temperature is between 45 and 60 degrees. It turns out that when your body is cold and shivering, your brown fat cells are activated, which boosts your metabolism (even before you start working out). Brrrn classes are 50 minutes long, and the low temps prevent you from getting too sweaty, so you might not need to fit in a shower! Brrn is available through ClassPass for 4 credits.

Mile High Run Club (30-45 minutes)

The Mile High Run Club is an indoor or outdoor class that focuses on enabling you to achieve your running goals. The studio offers four different classes that range from a toning 45-minute HIIT workout to a 30-minute treadmill-based class. The classes are challenging, and they guarantee a calorie-torching workout. Available on ClassPass for 4 credits.

SLT (50 Mins)

SLT is a challenging Pilates Megaformer class. The Megaformer works your body in a unique way that will leave you shaking and toned. The instructors are all trained to adjust your body in specific ways to allow you to build strong, lean muscles. I always feel that I get my money’s worth from this class, and my body feels fantastic afterward. Available on ClassPass for 16 credits.

Rumble (45 Mins)

Rumble is a full-body workout that involves boxing and strength training. The class is structured like a boxing match with ten, three-minute rounds that will keep you from getting bored with any one exercise. The music is upbeat, and the instructors take the time to show you the different punches that you will need to know for the class.

BodyRok (40 Mins)

Bodyrok is a 40-minute Pilates inspired class that focuses on strength training. The class uses the custom BodyRok reformer and a hybrid Pilates sequence that is designed to increase your metabolism and energize your body. Each class has a new, upbeat playlist that is meant to inspire you to reach your workout goals in every class! Available on Class Pass for 9 credits!
