Non-Toxic Skin Care
This truly is one of my favorite topics because I love skin care and I obviously am for conscientious about toxins in my daily life and how to best avoid them. Luckily, there are so many great options now days for non-toxic skin care. I have personally noticed a huge difference. It makes so much sense given that our skin is our biggest organ so taking care of it like you would with what you ingest is so important!
Our skin is our largest organ, so it makes sense that skin plays a vital role in our overall health. We hear about avoiding toxins in our food and the importance of eating organic all the time, but avoiding toxins in our skincare is just as important! Everything that touches our skin is absorbed into our bloodstream, which includes all of those unpronounceable ingredients in our skincare routines. I have made it my goal to be more conscious of what goes into the products that I use on my skin. I encourage you to do the same by reading labels and not purchasing products that contain harmful ingredients. I use the app Think Dirty to help me determine which brands are clean! I have done some of the work for you by listing my favorite non-toxic skincare brands in a variety of price ranges.
