One of the most asked questions I get from all my readers is “What do you eat in a day?” I decided to share with you what a day of eating looks like for me. I like to change up my meals a bit, but my food philosophy always stays the same – eat the freshest, most wholesome food possible, include a lot of fiber, lean meats, eggs and keep sweet things and alcohol to a minimum.
Here is a sample menu of what I eat in a day:
Breakfast
Quinoa Quiche – this quiche is high in both protein and fiber making it a dish that will keep you full through the mid-morning. It is so delicious and can be prepared on a Sunday to last for the week.
Lunch
Iceberg Salad with Grilled Chicken – I grew up eating a salad with most of my meals. My mom made sure to always have a variety of salads during the week and this has stuck with me to this day. In this lunch, the salad is my main course and I like to add grilled chicken on top for extra protein! This is a great low calorie, high protein dish that is filling and won’t leave you feeling bloated.
Snack
4 GG Crackers with Toppings – If you follow me on Instagram, you know how much I love my GG crackers. I eat them EVERY SINGLE DAY. I like to play around with the toppings so I don’t get bored of eating the same thing daily. Check out 25 ways to top your GG crackers here.
Dinner
Zucchini Noodles with Hearty Bolognese – I love pasta so much, but could never get away with eating it every day and that’s why zucchini noodles are a great substitute. You can add all of your favorite pasta toppings and you’ll barely notice that you’re not eating noodles.
Cocktail
Healthy with Nedi Martini – I usually have a glass of wine or a Nedi Martini!
